Reflecting the City We Serve
A diversity of students creates a rich learning environment where everyone feels represented.
Training Tomorrow’s Educators
We are a premier summer teaching program designed for undergraduates of all majors and career aspirations. Every year, we hire 15-20 diverse college students to teach math or language arts in small-size classrooms. No prior education experience is necessary but leadership, compassion, camaraderie, and organizational skills are important to a successful teaching experience.
What Students Say
I enjoyed Rhythm, Science, Sound because you got to learn about technology and the roots of music. They gave you perspective on what to do and what not to do.
I enjoyed Career Day because I loved meeting new people and learning fun things about their jobs. It was exciting, but I was nervous at the same time. I learned so much.
